The European Commission has published an open consultation on how to improve the resolution of cross-border tax problems for small and medium business

They are inviting you to share any recent experience of issues and disputes relating to cross-border tax situations.  What was the problem and if/how was this solved? This could include areas such as VAT, excise duties or double taxation.

Whether you a business, an association, a tax advisor or lawyer, working in an academic/research institution or a non-government organisation, they want to hear from you.

The Commission is considering a system which would help resolve cross-border tax problems faced by small & medium sized businesses when operating in the EU.  The results of the survey will help verify the need for such a system and its future shape.
