This accessibility statement applies to www.innovateukedge.ukri.org. This website is run by Innovate UK, which is part of UKRI.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website, which means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Some forms require users to zoom in when viewed on mobile.

Users cannot interact with all of the website with assistive technologies. The Search function in particular is not accessible with assistive technologies, and registering interest in a partnership opportunity cannot be completed with assistive technologies.

On the home page heading type are not always used correctly: for example, an H2 heading may come before a H1, or an H1 may be hidden.

There are no audio descriptions for videos. There is no descriptive text introducing videos, and there are no transcripts of embedded videos.

Not all of the language used is descriptive enough for users with cognitive disabilities.

Page templates contain large areas of text, which is not always digestible.
